A festival exploring memoir, biography and the stories that shape a place
Running from spring through to a flagship weekend in October 2026 Blackheath Lives will explore how personal histories, memoirs and biographies give shape to both individual identity and collective memory.
The programme will include:
Autobiographical and memoir-writing workshops
Author talks focused on life-writing and biography
A weekend of headline events featuring established writers
